My hands like snakes, tight round your neck Lick the flesh the body shudders Oh, I love watching your eyes roll A deranged pair, animals Oh, girl your skin is what I like Slither, just right Know that I'm prey to your heat When the venom finds me When we are union Scar my back Call my name Scream out our Sick love game When we are union When we are union It fits right What we do Savage love Inside you When we are union When we are union Im in and out I feel it now In and out Swirls and rattled around Want to? Tell me that you want to Tell me that you need it Tell me that you crave me Tell me that its over Tell me that you love it Tell me that you feel it That you feel our That you feel our union That I'm the only one Makes you an animal Serpent Succumbed

I've got another thing coming It seems to happen everyday around here What else can I say It always goes this way I've got another thing coming What else can I say (I wake up) It happens everyday (I get down) Relapse then decay (I know that) Heart beating in dismay (I got it) It happens everday What else can I say

They've been complaining I dont speak clear enough They're not a fan of the bobiddity mock bop I speak When I want Dont you dare miss the message thrust through my lips Take another crack at My kingdom I'll mumble every line If I want to Royalty Please me My jester Make war with me Speech police Find my haven Make war with me In a beautiful haven My tongue is a saber The teeth are mechinal The words are dimaond The voice an angel They've been complaining I don't speak clear enough (mumbled) I speak when I want Dont you dare miss the message thrust through my lips Make war with me In a beautiful haven Make war with me In a beautiful haven Love and war in me In this beautiful haven Make war with me Make war with me In this beautiful haven

about

'Static' was recorded in Newfoundland, New Jersey at Filipek Studios. Producers and original members, Salvatore Carollo and Doug Davenport knew going into it that this was a great chance that they could express all of their ideas, emotions, and personalities with no hesitations. They worked with recording engineer, Matt Filipek, who was professional and considerate enough to let them work and create with no worries of limitations. The band really experimented with tones, sounds, and textures all through the process which made it a bit difficult to finalize but created the unique sound and originality that a listener would hear in the music. For the cover, MonitoR worked with their friend and artist, Bret Salvatore, to create a cohesive cover that symbolizes the moods and emotions that are incorporated through the E.P.

MonitoR started recording as a duo and through the recording process, came out as a trio. Before playing with their newest member and even before being a duo, MonitoR was a trio from birth. The primary vocalist and bassist (Doug) and additional vocalist and percussionist (Sal) have been playing together for years, having originally met in college. In those days, there was one other member who cemented what was the original basis of MonitoR. This trio forged a dynamic sound that quickly rose them to great opportunities and experiences. They were able to record their deput E.P., play live on the radio, open for nationally acclaimed acts, as well as give their friends and family good times and music. These fond and fun memories lasted roughly two years as the original trio, but eventually Doug and Sal split ways with their other member.

After parting ways with their ex-guitarist, now a two-piece, MonitoR decided to continue writing music and improving despite the new challenges that were to come. Through sessions in the studio, countless rehearsals, and performances they continued to play as MonitoR and sharpen their skills together. Albeit difficult at times, the resulting hard work and persistence shaped them into a tighter knit unit. This unit continued the pace and before long it was time to make the next record. They began the recording process in late March 2017 and along the way, something special happened. A fan of MonitoR reached out to them in the summer asking if they could come and collaborate. MonitoR accepted the offer and soon became a fan of this additional musician. As the E.P. was reaching it's later stages, and with a few preliminary gigs under his belt, guitarist Noah was brought into the MonitoR squad and asked to play on the recordings.

Resumed as a trio, there was now a new fire burning in their eyes. MonitoR began to mix all the elements together, record the new additions, and finalize the tracks down into what they are proud to present to you today; 'Static'. Last but not least, they like to thank all their family, friends, and fans for their loving and constant support.
